Better Together PLUS

Better Together is just one of the excellent discounting modules created for ZenCart by the Duke of Discounting - Scott Wilson, aka That Software Guy.

With Better Together, you may specify

• Buy item X, get item Y at a discount
• Buy item X, get an item from category A at a discount
• Buy an item from category A, get an item from category B at a discount
• Buy item X, get another item X free
• Buy an item from category A, another identical item free

Discounts may be set as percentages of the latter item's price or as absolute values in the currency your cart uses. Messages are automatically displayed on the product_info page and at the shopping cart so that your customers see the discounts on offer.

However, in Better Together's original format, you had to get stuck into the code to create your discounts. Realising that our customers want to run their stores, not become trainee programmers, JSWeb commissioned Scott to produce an Admin Panel to enable the easy creation of any one of a variety of discount offers.

Even so, Better Together was still really only part of what is needed to achieve the objective (getting customers to buy more products), so we have created Better Together Plus. This includes

• Better Together
• Better Together Admin
• Better Together Promotional page
• Better Together Marketing Text (no point in having discounts if no one knows about them!)
• Discount Preview (so the client can see the discounts at the shopping cart) and
• Checkout Candy so you can add promotional messages in the package.

Now you can add discounts with ease, add text to the Better Together Promotional page which lists all discounts in force via admin>tools>define pages editor, let the client see the applicable discounts when they view the shopping cart and add upsell messages to the Checkout.
