Following the recent sudden announcement by RSTO (TradeOnlineProject) that they are no longer supporting or hosting ZEN-CART, we at JSWeb have been inundated with calls from people like yourself who need help to get their website back up and running. Please note that we normally expect our clients to use our Help Desk at http://support.jsweb.co.uk as the primary means of communication (so please bookmark that for future use), but we understand that right now you need a quick response to help you recover from this situation and get your online store trading again as soon as possible, so this page outlines how the team here at JSWeb can help. If you STILL have concerns after reading this, then by all means, do call us on 0845 8620012, but please remember - right now, we are extremely busy dealing with a LOT of people in the same situation as yourself. The good news is that the team here at JSWeb all Eat, Drink and Live Zen-Cart, and we ARE here to help! However, we must point out before you go any further that we are in no way connected with, or have any ownership of, RSTO, nor do we have any responsibility or liability for your contract with them. Should you elect to use our services, it will be on a completely new contract with JSWeb Ltd under terms and conditions which you will be asked to read and accept prior to completing your account sign-up. Section 1: Joining and Migrating to JSWebWe offer a wide range of Zen Cart hosting options which you can sign up to via our website (Gear 2+ are suited for ZenCart) and the process that clients are asked to follow is listed below.
Note: If you choose JSWEB Gear 3 or higher the migration is FREE!! However, there will be a small migration charge of £50+vat should you choose our 1st or 2nd Gear plan. Please remember that the BACKUP we were provided by RSTO is an up-to-date Database but with ZenCart files dating back to 16th June 09. Okay, onto the next steps..... Step 1. You website will initially be placed on a TEMPORARY JSWeb url e.g. http://xxxxx.u42.jswebconsole.co.uk Step 2. When you are happy for your site to go live, you need to change your domain “NAME SERVERS” details to point to your account on our servers. You do this through your domain's registrar account
Note: To find out your domain registrar please visit: http://whois.domaintools.com. Step 3. Once your domain points to our server, you must let us know so we can make final changes to your ZenCart site to allow other people to see your site. Step 4.
